I believe that creativity touches every part of our lives. The lessons in every aspect of making apply to most disciplines, and life in general. Creatives are often multi-passionate and multi-dimensional, but we're pigeonholed into our niches. I'd like this to be a space where we can show up as our full selves, and connect the dots of our artistry through as many points as possible. Even if we deem ourselves just a writer or just a knitter (though we're always so much more than one thing!) we can allow inspiration to guide us in our work as we learn about other disciplines and crafts when we come together and share in community.
On Patreon, I share glimpses of my writing and creative life through written posts and YouTube videos, foster connection through Writers & Makers sessions, and find ways to deepen our practices through conversations, accountability check-ins, and goal sharing.
The tiers are geared towards both individual and collective growth. Creative Sparks is designed to spark your creativity with a monthly missive from me, early access to my videos, and an interactive book club filled with discussion and journaling questions. In the Writers & Makers Circle, we take it a step further and participate in group calls for accountability and to deepen our practices. Finally, the 1:1 Coaching tier takes all of the sparks and conversations a step further, and deepens your commitment to your craft and process through a monthly 1:1 call with me where I guide you to the answers you already have within you.
You're welcome to follow along as a free member as well! I will occasionally post content for all to enjoy.
A couple of notes about the Writers & Makers Sessions:
Each session will be roughly one hour, with an additional optional debrief.
We'll gather via Google Meet, all starting off on mute and getting straight to work. At the end, you can stay and share what you worked on and allow me to hold space and offer a few insights, or be on your merry way!
While we work, our cameras can be on or off, but our microphones will be silent.
Bring whatever project you'd like to work on! Whether writing, knitting, editing videos, sketching, or any other creative endeavor, all are welcome.
